Tucked away from the noise, Wonderlight is an intimate art school designed for focused, meaningful creative work. Our bright, quiet studio offers a calm counterpoint to busy daily life — a place where teens and adults alike can slow down, pick up a pencil or brush, and actually think.

We believe great art instruction happens in small settings with real attention. That's why our classes stay intimate: enough students to spark energy and exchange ideas, never so many that anyone gets lost in the crowd. Natural light fills the studio throughout the day, creating an atmosphere that's as pleasant to work in as it is easy to focus in.

Carolina Tello Zeleski

Carolina is an award winning concept artist and art director in the video game industry.

With a passion for helping others make art, she founded Wonderlight Art Studio, as a place for creative people to gather, explore, and share new artistic skills and techniques.

Carolina enjoys her free time painting, exploring the Pacific Northwest with her family and dogs, and playing guitar and ukulele,

Founder and Instructor

Mad Sierra

Mad Sierra is a professional portrait photographer and mixed media artist. She creates bold visual narratives that combine portraiture and commercial productions with digital layering, physical collage, and scanography. Mad works with individuals and brands that seek eye-catching, original artwork that reflects their identity.

Mad is originally from the state of Pennsylvania, and is new to the Pacific Northwest! In her free time she enjoys crafts, gabbing with the gals, and the outdoors (especially if there is a swimmable body of water)

Sophie abbassian

Sophie Abbassian is an Oregon-based artist working primarily in drawing and painting. Her work deals with themes of mythology and imagination, ecology and animism, history and restoration. Her artworks are constructed through numerous layers, glazes and hidden details. Abbassian also works as a portraitist, book illustrator and graphic designer. She completed her undergraduate education in art at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR.

Through demonstration of a variety of artistic techniques and approaches, We give students the toolbox from which they can find their own way to create and elevate their own voice.
